Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire 1875 Quick Card Birthday
The original antique print was drawn by Alexander Francis Lydon (1836-1917) and printed from colored woodblocks by the Baxter process by Benjamin Fawcett (1808-1893) of Driffield, Yorkshire. They were considered the finest in thier day and are still highly collected today although they are now very rare and expensive.
I have mounted them in a lovely frame for a quick and very elegent A5 card. There is a an extra frame to add depth and a selection of sentiments for you to choose from.

Printed file once onto glossy photo paper, and the insert alone with my chosen greeting onto 160gsm paper.
I cut out the main image, the description and the frame from glossy paper, and matted the picture and description to fir green card then attached to a white tentfold card with green dots.
I attached the frame with glue gel. I added the description below with dst. I embellished the two sides with a decorative gold border. I attached the insert with dst. I like this nostalgic vintage picture from a famous landmark of my home county.
