I have made this card several times today. I have included the quick, and the step by step, methods, For the quick card, I printed onto good quality card, cut at 13.5 x 27cm. made a card in white13x13cm square, attached the front topper, using padded double sided tape. I used a backing sheet of white 2.5x 7cm for the sentiment. I Attached them together with double sided tape, placing the sentiment at the left edge of the backing card, I then punched a hole in the R.H Corner to thread a ribbon through, tied a bow and attached this to the completed card 3cm in from the L.H. edge of the finished card. I used some tiny jewel bling on the berries.
The Step By step card.
I made 3 copies of the sheet onto gloss card. I made the main card using a print of a Holly backing sheet 15.5 x 29cm and covered good quality card stock the same size, using a runner glue pen. I folded it to stand easel style. I made a backing sheet for the topper with a silver scroll printed card 13cm square, and from copy one, I cut out and then used double sided tape to attach this to the backing sheet. I measured 1.5 cm up from the bottom of the backing sheet and here I added 2 lengths of ribbon. The green satin 3cm x26cm, and the silver satin 1.5cm x 26cm. I used the running glue pen to attach these to the front and the back of the card. I attached this, finished part of the topper, to the card front, with double sided padded tape. From the 2nd copy I cut around the narrow silver frame, and used the padded double sided tape & attached this on top of the ribboned topper. I used the 3rd Copy to cut out the holly pieces and again used double sided tape to attach them. For the sentiment I mounted it as I did for the quick card adding the dark green ribbon through a punched hole. Lastly a few rhinestone style bling on the berries.
Thank you Anne for such a fuzzy feeling card design for lovers of our paw family. I made the quick card as well as the gift card, as posting is so expensive once you go over a size here in Australia, but I do have a need to send "special cards" as every one does.
So I certainly always get my value for money with designs like this from craftsuprint.
Thank you and a big hug from my cute little canine and myself
