Christmas Holly Watercolour - Owl 8x8Completed by Louisa Price

Throughout the year we loose people, through illness or accident, and sometimes "Happy or Merry Christmas" isnt suitable. The alternate greeting for this one sheet kit is "Wishing you Peace", ideal for those going through a tough time.

I printed on Matte photo paper, cut it out and used Wild Honey distress ink on the edges to remove the white edge, matted it onto some navy card stock, and mounted it on the front of an 8x8 inch card blank. Then I went a touch further, and added some glitter pen to the wing edges, and some enamel dots on the tiny Holly Berries in the back ground. The main Holly berries have had some glossy varnish applied to the top of them, before matting the sentiment onto a small piece of Gold Mirri, and mounting on the front with some foam pads. Bearing the sentiment in mind, I dont feel that this card requires more, it is quite simply elegant and heartfelt.
