The design was printed onto white card and cut out each individual element as necessary. the main part of the cracker was scored along the fold lines using a scoring aid, (you can also use anything from the back of a scissors blade to a crosshead screwdriver, if a scoring aid is unavailable) BE CAREFUL NOT TO CUT THROUGH THE CARD!

Cut out the white diamond areas using a craft knife. Then, to assemble, I used DST on the 3 white flaps, trimming the DST if necessary. Assemble.

Using some foli curling ribbon I secured the one end of the cracker, filled it with tissue (mainly to obtain the idea of a gift inside) and secured the other end the same way, curling the remains of the ribbon with the back of my scissors.

The decoupage panel was stuck with foam squares. Although you could write name/message on the gift tag, it can be personalized by opening the document in the PAINT program and typing in the gift tag the name of choice.

Remember to 'Save As...' after any amendments have been done, enabling you to print the document with the personalised gift tag. either way works well.

Approx dimensions of cracker H: 16 cm W: 6 cm D: 6 cm. The overall space for a gift is enough for a small gift such as earrings, key-ring, small jewellery item or toy.
