Another absolutely beautiful, cute, bright Christmas card from Nick to add to my Christmas stash. Thank you, your designs are brilliant. This time I made a dark green card, opening easel style, 15 x 30 cm. I made 2 backing sheets. The yellow is 13cm square, and the white 13.5cm square. I matted these together with double sided tape. I wrapped a red satin ribbon 2.5cm wide x 26cm length around the 2 backing sheets, 3cm up from the lower edge of the white backing sheet. To attach this to the back of the white backing sheet, I used Crafty Bob's super strong red double sided tape, leaving it unattached on the front of the yellow card.
I then attached a length of the same ribbon to the very hard left of the backing sheets, by slipping it under the horizontal ribbon and tying a bow. I then attached the completed backing sheet to the main green card with padded double sided tape.
I made 2 copies of the sheet, supplied by Nick, in Crafty Bob's Gloss card. I cut out the elements and used the second copy to cut out the centre circle part of the topper, and used double sided padded tape to attach this to the main topper. Using the padded double sided tape, I made sure I covered the section where the ribbon would only show the main part of the bow. I added the elements to the topper and that completed the card.
I used the extra elements, to make a gift card. Shown in Photographs 2 And 3. I also had enough elements left over after all of that to make an insert with the extra bows and holly. What great value, for a super duper card.
