Anemones GaloreCompleted by Peggy Stogdill
OccasionPrinted on matte photo paper. I mounted the base image onto a backing paper and then to an ivory card with DST.
I cut out the "flap" image, then used a craft knife to cut partially around the more forward petals on the large flower, the bud, and the front petal of the lower flower.
I finger-shaped the loose petals a bit, used chalks to color the cut edges, then used thin foam pads (being careful not to place any under the partially cut out items) to attach the flap to the base image.
One at a time, I lifted the loose petals and put globs of silicone gel underneath to raise them up and make them look dimensional.
I used silicone to attach the butterfly decoupage, sticking the bodies directly to the card but raising the wings a bit.
Finished with some velour cord. Beautiful colors in this design!
