my stash, and coloured the edges in blue, and simply added a peel off heart sentiment. There is plenty of This is a beautiful valentine card design by Ceredwyn, and has total universal appeal. Although it is specifically designed as a Valentine greeting card, it could just as easily be used as a birthday, fun wedding, an engagement, just to say, hello, wedding anniversary, and all of the above for both female and male greetings. This is definitely one to keep on hand, as an extremely useful greeting card. I printed the sheet I purchased 3 times onto 200gsm white matte card. I used the first copy as the main backing sheet for the topper. The second copy, I cut out the very centre main image, deleting the spotted frames. I made 2 backing sheets. The largest backing sheet is a sky blue, and measures, 14.5 x 13.5cm. I coloured the edges of this with a dark blue permanent pen. I made the main card in a darker blue textured finished, good quality card, and it measures 31cm high and 14 cm wide. I coloured the edges of this, before scoring and folding it. I then used D.S. tape to attach the sky blue backing sheet. The next backing sheet, is a white card which measures, 13.5 x 12.5cm, the edges of this, are also coloured with the blue pen. I coloured the edges of the main element, with the blue pen, and then I attached 2 x 18cm lengths of spotted blue ribbon, to the front of the main element at 5 cm apart. I attached the smaller main element to the topper with D.S. tape, and then the main element to the white backing sheet. I then wrapped the 2 lengths of ribbon around to the back of the white backing sheet, and attached them firmly with power tape. I used padded D.S. tape to attach this topper to the card front. I then used the third copy I had made, to cut out the 2 small bears and attached them with tiny padded squares. I used a silver glitter pen to high light the balloons, and the hair and stitching on the bears. I added some tiny hearts above the bears, and a simple bow, using some of the same coloured ribbon. To make a backing for the sentiment, I used the same darker blue textured card to make a 3 step concertina fold to attach the Love and kisses sentiment. I cut the card at, 5cm wide and 6 cm high. I then concertina folded it, into 3 x 2cm sections. The sentiment is attached to the outside mountain fold with D.S. padded squares. The valley fold is stuck together using D.S. tape, and then using the same D.S. tape on the back section, attached this to the front of the card. In the open flap I added some coloured peel off hearts. The card opens easel style, so the concertina fold sentiment tag sits out even further than the card, when the card is standing. This gives the card front even more a dimensional appearance. For the insert, I copied a Christmas wrapping paper I had in room to add a personal greeting. I decided to make the small images that were attached to the sheet provided into greeting cards, and made envelopes to fit them all. I have included a photograph of only one of these smaller gift cards, but they are all the same finished size, 14.5 x 7.5cm when opened. I used different coloured backing sheets to vary the look, and envelopes to match the backing sheet colour. I used the peel offs as ornamentation, and coloured them to match the colour of the sentiment. I also used the glitter pen on the balloons. And I attached a tiny heart above the bears. This is indeed a very useful delightful set of cards I have made.
