I know Easter is still a long way down the next years’ calendar, I couldn’t resist purchasing this absolutely cute and delightful topper.

I was unable to post this year’s Easter cards due to self- isolation and so did not make any, much to the chagrin of my family.

This is the beginning of the list in preparation to be ready for next Easter and rectify the issue. This design really does not need any embellishment and is so quick and easy to make, I was able to make it in a very short time.

I made 2 copies of the sheet provided and backed the first image with a 16.5x 11.5 cm black backing sheet, which has the gold ribbon across horizontally 3.5cm up from the lower edge.

I then backed this again using D.S. tape with a gold satin finished 17.5x12cm background sheet. The white card is 200gsm white matte Crafty Bob Photo paper, cut at 26x18cm and scored and folded before attaching the topper, using padded D.S. tape.

I used the second copy of the sheet provided to cut out the faux envelope flap top retaining the complete bunny and attached this to the card front using padded D.S. tape.

I used the first copy to then cut out the gorgeous bunny and attach this to the card front using padded D.S. tape.

To give the bunny extra depth, I have used the extra bunny to attach before attaching the smaller elements using D.S. padded tape.

I have used glitter gold peel off decorative strips on the outside white edges and I have made a matching bow to attach.

To complete the insert, I have used a verse I had previously written which is available from the free verse Easter section to print onto pale yellow paper and attached this to the inside of the card.

I am so thrilled, with this outcome, I will now print it a couple of more times and use different coloured backing sheets, ribbon and insert sheet.
