Red Dragon Spiral Pyramid

This would be a perfect Birthday card for anyone born in the year of the dragon, anyone who considers themselves as fierce as a dragon or anyone who just loves dragons.

To give the dragon's scales this shine I printed the design on high gloss photo paper, then cut out the greeting and the pyramid pieces.

I love that this design also comes with a birthday tag and other extras - VERY good value!

The front of an A6 card was cut diagonally and one background paper was attached to the front and another one to the back inside.

Gold peel offs were applied, then the twisted pyramid toppers were stuck onto gold mirror board and attached. Finally a greeting topper was attached

What a cool Dragon and definitely a Gryffindor dragon. I printed the design onto good quality white card and cut out all the elements. I inked the edges of all the decoupage elements and assembled the card using spongy tape.

Because I was making it for a customers granddaughter, I had strict instructions about the Hogwarts house the young lady and the dragon belonged to so hence the red and gold matting.

I added the greeting and finally a little gold glitter glue go give him extra sparkle.
