Flower Shaped Stacker - Buttercup Yellow

I love these bright buttercups and have used them over and over, even at my children's craft club! In this case I wanted to make something for my best friend and this was the result!! I printed this out twice, full size and 4 times half the size.

The full size flowers I built up as buttercups, the smaller ones I made up to look more like dahlias!

One of the larger buttercups I adhered to a pretty white pot, which I also embellished with pale gold flower and round gems. then the other large one I used to make the card. first I matted a black 300gsm card down one sside with silver holographic card and edged with a gold border peeloff.

I mounted the buttercup and added a glitter green pipe cleaner as the stem! the the right of this I added the sentiment using gold peeloff letters, and below a removable magnetic butterfly! along the edge of the card I placed a double row of fine gold border peeloffs with the same pale gold gems, with are on the pot, down the edge!

On the other side I matted another strip of silver holographic card and added the three smaller flowers, built up slightly differently.

I think the black against the bright yellow really shows this flower off at it's best!
