I printed this onto gloss photo paper so the main image measured about 10cm tall and carefully cut out all the layers.

I edged all the layers with a coordinating red pen and layered them up using foam pads.

I matted and layered the assembled image onto dark grey pearlescent cardstock. I also matted and layered cup256489_1435 and cup248160_10 onto the same dark grey cardstock and attached this to the card.

The ribbon strip is made from the same pearlescent card which I dripped clear glaze onto and allowed to dry - I wanted it to resemble dripping blood without it actually being red!

Finally I mounted the image onto the card blank and added red adhesive pearls to embellish.
