I think this is called a shutter card and I chose to use this lovely picture onto this style card.

I matted the main image onto green mirri and attached it to the centre square of my white card. Then I built up the layers.

I punched out 2 strips of the green mirri and put them down the long edges of the card. I added some green holly gems and a green greeting.
