Russet Roses on a ScallopCompleted by Valerie Boyle

I folded an A5 cream card blank. I then used a torn strip of gold embossed vellum onto a piece of antique gold linen paper, and matted onto gold mirri before attaching to card.

A narrow strip of gold mirri was put across that, and another strip of mirri across, close to the bottom.

The image was matted onto copper pearl card and attached to the main card, then decoupaged. I put a gold peeloff in each corner and 2 tiny roses on the gold strip. I finished off with 2 pale gold gems.
