Build a Card OwlsCompleted by Helen Jennings
OccasionI printed the sheet onto super smooth paper and cut out the elements.
I cut each of the 2 backing paper elements up into 4 smaller rectangles then used 3 of each to form a patchwork background, which I stuck to some linen effect gold card that I had stuck to a 6" square brown card blank.
I drew faux stitching around the edges of each rectangle. I then stuck a pale blue circle of card on top with foam pads and drew stitching around the edge of that.
I cut elements out of one owl to decoupage onto the other (head and wings).
I then arranged the owl, branches and leaves onto the circle and stuck down. I added the "What a hoot" greeting panel on an angle and finished by sticking some of the smaller flower elements in the bottom corners.
This is a fun sheet which allows plenty of scope for immagination.
