I printed the sheet onto super smooth card and cut out the elements. Using a craft knife I cut some slits in the faux ribbon image on the backing sheet section, to allow me to thread some orange organza ribbon through.

I then built up the layers with foam tape.

I punched a hole in the "have a hoot" greeting and attached an eyelet. I tied a short length of matching orange organza through the greeting and attached it to the card front with foam pads.

I stuck the Happy Birthday greeting beside the owl with DS tape.

I finished the topper by threading an orange brad through some chipboard embellishments and sticking them on with some glue gel.

I matted this topper onto some orange corrugated card and then onto an A5 brown card blank. I love the subtle autumnal colours in this card.
