The making of this card sounds complicated but it's not. You need to cut out a card that is the same size as the frame surrounding the cat making the back of the card two inches longer.
You are going to make a reverse easle card to support the topper, which I printed onto photo paper and built up the layers using silicone glue and left to thoroughly dry before sticking it to the short side of the card so the spine of the card was at the top and was centred so the frill round the card overlapped evenly the front of the card.
Now lay the card flat onto a clean surface, face up, and mark lightly with pencil where the card falls on the longest side of the card.
Now score and fold with a bone folder or the handle of a pair of heavy duty scissors.
Crease well open out and stand the card up so the folded piece now faces in towards the front of the card.
This can be applied to a number of card types and makes for a card with a difference to the normal.
