Chimpanzee 3D Decoupage with Background
Design includes border strips and message tags .A blank message plate is included so all occasions can be covered .This design is available in a 3D decoupage step by step sheet and a pyramid sheet.

The sheet was printed off on glossy photo paper and all the elements cut out. A green card was chosen as the base card, picking up on the green colour in the background of th image.
The backing paper was placed to cover the left half of the card and stuck down using double sided tape.
The chimp handprint ribbon was stuck down across the bottom right corner of the card. The base layer of the image was stuck onto a sheet of silver mirror card and this was trimmed to 1cm larger than the image all the way around.
This matted image was then stuck to the card, again with double sided tape. The individual chimpanzee elements were gently curved and then stuck on a layer at a time using glue gel.
I printed the sheet onto matte photo paper, cut out the pieces and mounted the main image onto a 13.5cm.sq. card, covered with the paper, as shown.
I added the layers using sticky pads and completed the card with a caption.
