Dahlia and berry
Dahlia and berry is a 7x7 card with decoupage and sentiment tags, happy birthday, special friend, thank you, special sister

A beautiful dahlia card with sweet juicy berries, that look ready to pick. A multi. universal card, for all celebrations, even Thank You, Sympathy, Mothers' Day, and Get Well sentiments. I used the blank sentiment supplied for this reason. I love the peach and deep cream shades, so used these colours for backing sheets. The main card is cream 26 x 13cm, folded. The backing sheets, peach is 12.5cm square, the black is 11.5cm square. I matted the backing sheets together with double sided tape and wrapped a peach ribbed ribbon, to line up with the one on the topper, around the 2 backing sheets and attached the backing sheets and ribbon, to the card front with padded double sided tape. I copied the sheet provided twice onto good quality copy paper. The first topper, I cut out and I attached it to a cream backing sheet 10.75cm square, and attached this to the prepared card front.
With the second copy, I cut out the middle main framed feature, roughly, and matted it to a piece of scrap paper, then cut it out carefully and used padded double sided tape to attach this to the card front. I used all the elements from the first sheet and attached them with very tiny, padded dots, step by step onto the dahlia feature, added the blank sentiment, twice matted with backing sheets, and I used the elements left over to add to the insert when I have a need for this card.
I am delighted with the result, and so quick and easy, it looks like I spent all day making a card especially for the recipient. Thank You Angela
I have just used this lovely design again for a thank you greeting and added a backing sheet from the group of Vault freebies offered early this week. I have inverted the design and added a double ribbon bow and some pink glitter peel off strips. So easy and one design previously purchased used for a great purpose.
A big hug
