Male Card Gone Fishing

I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded a C5 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I added the greeting using thin foam tape.

I took the image into my graphics package and added 'Happy Birthday' to the blank panel. I then printed onto glossy photo paper and added the decoupage with foam pads. I covered a crd blank with some blue embossed paper and then attached the image.

I finished by edging with silver peel offs.

Just loving these fishing designs for males. They are so graphic and usually the recipients love them too. I printed out the sheet and was making a "Happy Retirement" card for a co-worker.

I simply cut out the decoupage pieces and layered them up with foam tape, before adhering the base topper onto a matching blue textured cardstock.

Once again used two sentiment tags offset to add dimension to the card. I love how it turned out. For a little more interest, you might like to use Stampin' Up Candy Dots in matching colours, placed around the design.
