This design has made a most delightful birthday card for a young friend who is celebrating his 8th birthday soon.

It was so easy to complete the step by step method of the decoupage. I printed the sheet provided onto CB gloss photo paper and cut out the main image.

I used a purple pen to define the outside edges and then mounted it onto a dark mauve backing sheet cut at 12.5 x 10cm.

This in turn I mounted onto a bright green backing sheet cut at 13.5 x 11cm using D.S. tape. The main card is a dark mottled purple card cut at 28 x 16cm which I then scored and folded in half.

I attached the topper using D.S. tape and used vertical peel off letters for the happy birthday. To complete the insert I used a second paper copy of the main image and the birthday sentiment supplied with the gloss sheet.

I then used 2 images of the Tennis Inserts, Cup 795889_57683, the image that is blank I will use to write my personal greeting.

This is a very easy quick card to make, which is bright and cheery and for my purpose was age appropriate.
