Christmas Poinsettia - Step by StepCompleted by Lynda Jones

I created a 17cmx11cm card blank from white card stock. I carefully cut the poinsettia image and the border from the design. I then fixed the border to the front of the card blank and cut an aperture to size with a craft knife to form a frame.

I then fixed the base poinsettia image inside the card so it showed through the aperture. I cut out and secured with silicone glue the decoupage elements except for the larger one. From this I cut a smaller poinsettia image. Underneath the frame I added one of the printed sentiments which I had matted onto green mirri card.

The additional flower was then added to the sentiment. To complete this very pretty image I used some green and red card candy dots.
