Am I Going the Right Way?Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus
OccasionSuch a happy welcome this Santa would give to any and all receivers.
I printed the sheet out at 50% in light white card. I cut out all the elements and decoupaged the Santa, using small white foam dots. I trimmed his hat, top of his boots, buckles and soft trims to his suit with crystal elements and set aside to dry.
I made up the backing sheet using from my paper stash- Pointsettia Christmas paper 13x9cm, Matching pale green card 14x 10cm. I then attached 2 lengths of 1cm red gold edged ribbon around the backing sheets, 4cm down from the top edge of the light green card and glued the ribbon to the back. I attached this to the main card.
THE MAIN CARD is the CUP 484496_1581 Reindeers fade green background. Printed onto Good quality matt photo paper & Cut at 23x 15 cm. The insert is copy paper of the same reindeer design cut to 21.5 x 14cm
I added the finished decoupage overlaying it as indicated, attached a simple bow and tails printed out a sentiment in red "Elephant" style and made an oval sentiment shape with the reindeer paper as a backing with a "Talking Stem" and attached with D.S Foam Squares. This enabled me to use 2 of my reserved sheets which suited the style and feel of the spirit intended by the designer- a little bit funny and a bit cheeky!! I l,oved it. I hope you do as well.
