I folded an A4 sheet of pearlescent gold cardstock to form my A5 card blank. Used a small triangle of holly printed paper for the top left corner, added a strip of red metallic paper to the right edge and a contrasting sentiment to the bottom centre of the card.
I matted teh base image in the centre of my card and built the decoupage, finished off by glittering the snowy areas on the scene and the antlers
This was printed on 120gsm card. Using an 8x8 inch card, I scored the front of the card about 2 inches from the fold. This was then valley folded. I opened out the card and used double sided tape inside the creased area and then closed it to form a "book hinge".
I added some Christmas backing paper to the front of the card to the right of the "hinge" and attached the Santa to some green card with double sided tape and then added the decoupage with sticky foam pads.
I added some bling with gold peel off edging.
I did the same with the greeting.
To decorate the hinge I used some green card with red ribbon and more gold peel off edging. I added a double bow in red. This is a really Christmassy card, ideal for everyone.
