Winter DeerCompleted by Lesley Williams
OccasionI printed the sheet onto super smooth paper and cut out all the elements. I stuck a length of double sided tape across the main image along the line of the printed ribbon and wrapped a short length round to the back on both sides.
I then took a piece of silver coloured ribbon and attached one end to the wrong side using the tape, before bringing the main length of the ribbon to the front.
I made three small pleats over the printed ribbon, then stretched the ribbon flat across the main picture, before making three more pleats on the other side.
I then wrapped the edge of the ribbon round to the back, using the tape to secure it.
Next I mounted the main image onto the front of a white deckled edged card. I matted the two remaining images onto matt silver card and cut them out leaving a narrow border. I layered them up over the main image using double sided tape on the first (rectangular) layer, and Pinflair glue gel on the circular image to give a domed dimension.
I mounted the sentiment label onto matt silver card and cut it out before attaching it to the card front with foam pads.
A bow of silver ribbon completed the card.
