This is a clever design because you can use which pieces you like to make one card, or several cards. It would also be possible to insert a different Christmas image behind the lantern with the cut-outs. The card is quite easy to make. I cut it on a Silhouette Cameo, but it could be cut by hand. To assemble the decoupage pieces onto the cut-out lantern I used sticky pads. Then I attached acetate behind it to form the glass. I attached that using sticky tape. The cut-out lantern was attached to the background lantern using double sided tape. A piece of gold mirror card was used for the backing mat, and I added a gold sentiment and peel-off edging. The completed design was attached to a 6 inch square scalloped card.
