I have used a Crafty Bob scalloped edged 21x 15 cm easy fold card which I had purchased for the main card.
I then used a vault freebie, a pale blue version Number 9, Shell edges and Snowflakes with Corners, cup820150_68705 for the main baking sheet and for the insert.
I made 2 backing sheets, the white 11.5x9cm card, I have used a grey, blue metallic pen to define the edges and used the same pen to colour my index finger and smudge mark the card before attaching the textured 10.5 x 8cm blue card, with the edges defined by the same pen, onto the left hand side, but leaving a 2mm section of the white card still visible.
I used the silver blue satin finished ribbon to attach vertically onto the left hand side leaving a narrow margin of both backing sheets still visible.
I used red power tape to secure this at the back of the white backing sheet.
I attached the trimmed, 9cm coffee coloured paper doily and used clear sticky dots to attach the doily straight edge, leaving the scallop edge to lie across part of the silver blue ribbon.
I cut out all the elements and used the step by step method to carefully attach each piece using padded D.S. tape for the first 3 pieces and regular D.S. tape for the very small pieces..
I added some silver stars as embellishments and tied the bow to attach using red power tape and sliding the lower tail under the doily edge.
To complete the insert I have used the same shell edges scallop sheet cut to size and added a religious verse from the Christmas section of free verses.
This verse, by Janyce Cotterill, is perfect for this card.
Thank you to Wanda Lipski for offering this absolutely delightful image and so easy to assemble project, of the nativity for purchase, I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome.
