This beautiful design by Terri Hawley, I originally purchased in October 2013 and have used it many times since. I am updating the original photograph and description today and I hope you like the improvement.

I have made virtually 2 cards and attached them together in this very easy quick method I have developed for making cards that have a point of difference and also have space for family members to all sign, or for a group occasion or celebration.

The ivory main card is cut at 23cm x 15.5cm and is printed on both sides with a simple floral design on a green background.

I printed the sheet supplied onto 200gsm white gloss card twice and have used one copy to complete the decoupage using D.S. padded squares.

The other copy I will use to make a free tutorial to post on my home page. I have then used a 9.75 x14cm pale green backing sheet and a 10.75 x 15cm burnt orange backing sheet to attach to the back of the topper.

I have then added the gold glitter peel off strips before attaching the apricot ribbon and then wrap it around the topper, slipping it under the lower leaf.

I attached this completed topper onto the card front using D.S. tape. I have used the same floral print for all the other backing sheets, and these backing papers are printed onto both sides of white copy paper.

The inside card is a lighter weight 120gsm, to avoid the bulk on the inside of the card. The inside card is a lighter card in 120gsm white card and cut at 21cm x 15.25cm. I have scored this off centre at the 10cm mark top and bottom from the left hand side.

I have used D.S tape on the top of the right hand edge and attached the lace on the inside and outside of the edge.

I printed the verse onto the 10 x 15cm section which forms the front of this page and attached the ribbon onto the left hand side, securing it behind before I then attached this over the lace edge.

I have then attached the backing sheet to the inside section.

I have folded this insert and attached the back section onto the inside of the back right hand section of the main card 2mm away from the fold line of the main card.

I used 80gsm copy paper to print another copy of the sheet provided and used the elements as embellishments on the inside of the card.

I have made a bow in the same ribbon.

I haven’t as yet added the glitter gold peel off sentiment onto the front of the card. Thank you Terri, your designs are absolutely beautiful and give the wow factor to many of the cards I make.
