I printed the sheet onto super smooth card and cut out the elements. This decoupage is very easy to cut out. I built up the layers with foam pads.

I took a co-ordinating blue A5 card blank and added a mat of gold paper, around which I had tied some blue organza ribbon.

Onto this I matted a strip of dark blue paper I had embossed with a scroll effect in my cuttlebug.

I attached the topper with ds tape and added a border of gold peel-offs. I put gold peel-off corners in each corner of the gold paper.

I added a narrow strip of matching dark blue paper to the top and bottom of the card and finished with some gold adhesive gems.

I choose the Happy Birthday greeting, but this is a versatile design, suitable for many occasions.
