1950's Lady Cocktail Hour Decoupage
A pretty lady in a 1950's style dress, with a flared skirt & petticoats. She has a matching sun hat & gloves & is holding a bag & a cocktail drink. Easy to cut out decoupage layers to give lots of depth to the folds of the skirt. Set on a pretty background in shades of pink & lilac.
Tip: put sticky tape instead of foam pads at the waist of the skirt to keep it flat & make the bottom of the skirt flare out.

With this design I first printed it out onto photo paper, then after cutting out all the elements, I placed the main design base onto the front of a lilac C5 card, I then added a pink and silver glittery border all round the outside edges of the design, to finish my card I made up the design, this I did using 2mm sticky pads, this is a absolute stunning design, which was very easy to cut and make up and is beautiful once made up.
I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded an A4 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.
I shaped the skirt of the dress with my fingers then added foam tape to the outside edges only. I did this for each layer. This makes the skirt look full. I added glitter to the handbag to complete this lovely card that can now be used with the greeting of your choice.
