Lovely 6 X 6 Watercolor Flowers In A Teacup
This kit includes a 6 X 6 topper and floral decoupage layers. I have included all of the flowers in the teacup so you can choose how many of the flowers you would like to use for decoupage on the topper.
I have also included two butterflies which you could use to embellish the top decoupage layer.

Deloris has offered us this very sentimental design with lovely flowers in a teacup and butterflies and with a choice to complete a decoupage if you wish.
The completed card is suitable for most female celebrations and occasions, and as Mothers’ Day is soon upon us in Australia, it is a very good choice right now.
I printed the sheet supplied onto 120gsm CB matte copy paper and used all of this to complete the card.
I also copied the sheet onto regular white 80gsm copy paper and used all of these elements.
I cut out the main image from the 80gsm copy and used this as the main backing sheet. I then cut out the main image from the 120gsm copy and carefully cut around the lace doily. I attached this to the main image using padded D.S. tape. I made the card with the backing sheets next to avoid damaging the rest of the decoupage.
I used a deep green marker to colour the edges of the main background sheet, and attached it using D.S. tape to a white backing sheet cut at 11cm square.
I edged this with a pink marker before attaching the 2 halves of a 9cm doily to the back of the white backing sheet.
I then attached the 2.25cm wide organza and satin ribbon in line with the ribbon displayed on the card front image.
I cut a salmon coloured rose embossed backing sheet at 12cm square and attached this using D.S. tape. The largest backing sheet is a deep sky blue and is cut at 12.75cm square.
This is attached to the back of the salmon pink backing sheet, and the ribbon is wrapped around to the back of the blue backing sheet and secured at the back before attaching this to the green card front which measures 14 x 13.25cm when scored and folded.
I then completed cutting out the smaller elements from the 120gsm card and used padded D.S. tape to attach the larger piece and thick white glue to attach the tiny pieces.
I made the insert from the same salmon pink as the backing sheet and used the small elements from the 80gsm copy to attach into place and added a strip of the same ribbon.
I have left the verse area blank but have attached one of the universal sentiments. I made a simple bow using the rabbit ear method and attached this using red power tape.
I am so very pleased with the resulting completed card, and I will be able to use this design many more times.
Thank you Deloris, I am sending you a virtual hug. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus
