Classic Red Roses on LaceCompleted by Valerie Boyle

I cut and folded white card to make a 7x7 square finished card. The sides were cut down to about an inch width. I covered the inside of the card with a white vellum embossed in gold, edging with gold borders and corners.

I matted the main image onto red mirri and put onto the card, then added the decoupage. Gold peel off sentiments were added. I took a piece of 7x7 inch acetate and cut it in half, and attached each piece to the inside of the sides.

The red strip that came on the sheet was cut out, halved and put onto each edge.

Some faux pearls were added and also some gold corners.
