The Sports CarCompleted by Jane Appleton

My first Christmas Card for 2011! The background and Figure image files are courtesy of Nancy Watts, Festive Deco Follies. I took the sports car sheet into my editing program to resize!

I feel I have not got the perspective quite right compared to the figures, but next attempt will be better.

I added the pointsettia swag and number plate on the decoupage layer, prior to printing on super smooth paper. Only three of the layers were used in this card. I then printed the background sheet with additional figures for layering.

I trimmed the background sheet using a wavy edge cutter, then placed my first layer of the sports car on top.

Using Glossy Accents, I enhanced the star and baubles on the tree. Then placed the decoupage layer of the lady on the card, this way I could give depth to her figure but still keep her behind the car.

I then placed the second layer of the car overtop, curving the sides for added depth, all layers were added usng silicone glue.

I then placed the decoupage layer of the man, beside the car,and then the final layer of the car.
