This design called for some bright bold colour - so I chose a lime green cardstock for the base card.

After printing out all the elements and mounting the decourpage elements with foam tape, I added a few purple Liquid Pearl dots to the two bottom corners and a lilac Liquid Pearl dot to the bottom of the hearts to accentuate the design.

It has come up a treat and what hot blooded guy wouldn't want to receive this one for his birthday greeting.
