Beautician - Birthday or New Job
My new series of cards shows various animals in professions. These cards can be used as birthday cards or as congratulations cards if someone has got themselves a new job. There is also a blank greeting for any other use.
This particular card shows a butterfly beautician with a nail file, tweezers and a brush.

I printed this sheet onto 200gsm photo paper and cut out all the pieces. I covered a white base card with a backing paper and attached the main image centrally and added all the decoupage using foam pads.
A new and novel way of dealing with professions.

I printed the design onto quality photo paper, cut it out and decoupaged the pieces. I matted it onto a cream shimmer card and used co-ordinating peel-off stickers to form a double border around it.
I used a different sentiment panel from my spare stash, to suit the occasion I was giving it for. To complete the card I added some bling to the sentiment and to the butterfly's belly button! This is a lovely humorous note for someone who regularly makes others beautiful.
