Away in a MangerCompleted by Gwyneth George
OccasionI printed this sheet and also a stary background sheet (cup256867_923) onto Super Smooth white card. I cut out all the layers. I created an A5 card from an A4 sheet of Centura Pearl Snow White card, onto which I stuck a piece of the stary background which was trimmed to be a little smaller. A border of star peeloffs was put around this background. The main image from the sheet was matted onto a sheet of silver mirror card and trimmed to leave a fine border of only 1-2mm. This matted image was stuck towards the bottom of my prepared card. I then built up the decopage layers in order, sticking each in place using glue gel. I finished of the card with a star cut from holographic card and a greeting (Nadolig Llawen = Welsh for Happy Christmas).
This is a nice image that can be used on a simple square card the same size as the image itself, or built up to be a part of a larger card. Some of the layers could even be left off if you wanted a card that wasn't so dimensional.

Away in a Manger
A striking Nativity scene perfect for making religious Christmas cards. The pieces are easy to cut out and layer for a lovely 3D effect.
