Sometimes..........in life all we need is a little tranquility
This sheet is part of my 'Sometimes...........' range of designs. All based on a theme of when sometimes we all need something to get us through. Be that more difficult times in our lives or more frivolous, enjoyable times when we just want or need a bit of fun.
Life can be hectic - we have busy, busy lives these days. We work hard and play hard and sometimes all we need is a little peace and calmness in our everyday lives. This sheet celebrates those times when we just need to chill out and relax, revive our batteries before taking up the battle of life once more. The three scenes depict calmness and peace.
This is an easy sheet to put together - with extra brad type embellishments to use as you wish. The sentiments/greetings say Wishing you a Peaceful Day, Let Mother Nature Work Her Magic, Wishing You Joy and a blank to add your own message or perhaps use on the back of the card for your own crafter details. I printed out sheet onto matt photo-paper, cut out and attached base to square white card, added toppers with foam pads and finished with a gold bow to spine.
A beautiful calming design in this busy world, so suitable for many occasions.
. I have printed this design twice on matte photo paper at 9x13cm (half size) and then cut out all the pieces. The finished cards are 14.5cm square.
The dark card is backed by a square fleur de lis die cut, placed on the diagonal and the cream card is backed by a rectangular fleur de lis die cut, halved and placed in the corners. The main picture of the design is flat stuck over the die cuts. I used 2mm foam under the words and 1mm foam under both layers of the pictures. I used 1mm foam circles under the embellishments and flat stuck one of the greetings to finish the card.){kind=link}
