STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN SYMPATHY 5x7 PYRAMID CARD FRONT

This is one of 2 cards I have made today, as at my age the need for this type of greeting card, unfortunately, becomes more frequent.

I printed the sheet supplied twice onto an A4, 120gsm white card and have reserved one copy to make at a later date.

The main card is a deep royal blue cut at 21x 13cm and is scored and folded before attaching the 11.5 x8.5cm gold foil backing sheet using D.S. tape.

I cut out all the elements, and formed the step by step process to complete the pyramid staircase image, using padded D.S. tape, and curving the items over my fore ringer to give them a rounded height vertically in the centre.

I then used regular D.S. tape onto the back of the largest element to attach it to the card front.

The peel off sentiment, I have coloured with a Royal blue coloured permanent pen and attached it to some gold foil before attaching it to a royal blue backing sheet.

I used decorative gold peel off strips as embellishments.

Thank you Wanda this design has such universal use as a bereavement card. I know I will be able to use it many times. I have reserved a copy and plan to use silver peel off strips, silver backing sheets, silver ribbon and add some tiny pearls to give it more of a feminine touch.
