I reduced the pattern slightly to fit my A6 tri-fold card base then pricked the pattern on the centre third of the card - this allows me to fold in one side to hide the stitching. I used DMC variegated threads, and various beads. To give my finished design some more definition I used coloured pencils within the stitched lines.

I really like the effect that the linen finish of my base card has on the light pencil colouring. I used dst to adhere the folded third of the card backing my stitching.

This is a very quick design for a stitched card and yet looks gorgeous when completed.
