I thought the flowers would work well with a spring fold card. I pricked the design onto ivory card and used a multi coloured purple thread for stitching. The stitched piece was then mounted onto purple card and the spring fold card (made using matching ivory card).

For the base of the card, I stitched two single flowers on another piece of ivory card and mounted this onto purple card, then onto the base of the spring fold card.

Gold peel off lines were used on both stitched pieces before the base of the springfold card was fixed.

A butterfly sticker with gems used to highlight flight, gems in the centre of the flowers and a gold peel off “Happy Birthday” finished a birthday card that someone special would just love!
