This design was fun to make but required some concentration when making the ovals and circles to ensure that you completed the shape (all holes need to have 2 threads in them).

I used DMC variegated embroidery thread to give some shading to the shapes but didn't quite have beads to match the thread so I alternated between light and dark.

After I had finished the design I trimmed my base piece, backed it with a purple card (matching my thread) and then added this to a card made from the same paper as my design was made on.
