I thought that I would show you what a difference a change of background card, thread and beads could make. I am not normally a yellow person but I think that this design would make up beautifully in any colour scheme.

I reduced Emy's design slightly to fit my chosen base card then pricked the green card. This design is surprisingly quick to make for a stitched card but loses nothing in its effortless elegance. I used variegated embroidery thread for my stitching as it gives a subtle sense of light and shade to the sewing. I also have great difficulty buying rice beads where I live so used bugle beads instead.
