Teabag Folding Tiles for All OccasionsCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus
OccasionI printed this off twice and used 17 tiles, ink edged in bottle green folded in the simple kite style.
8, I made into the medallion.
THE WREATH
I cut out a circle using a 7.5cm glass as a template. I then cut out the centre at 5.5cm.I hand drew and cut out a bundle of holly leaves, paired them and attached them to the brown circle, and added berries,( made of glue dots and inked in red pen). I left a space for the bow made from dotty red 1.3cm wide ribbed ribbon. I then with the remaining 9 kite shape tea bags, folded back the side points and used a glue pen to attach these to the wreath.
A Joy peel off sticker and bow completed the wreath.
I used a runner glue on the back of the wreath brown base and D.S thick foam strips for the medallion. These mounted onto Crafty Bob's versatile matt white A.4 card folded as a vertical card finish and edged with the same red spotty ribbon.
This is not a traditional Christmas tea bag but it's colouring is so versatile, and this was so effective.
I used the remaining tiles for a" flower in a pot" card. it will be wonderful for Mother's day or a birthday card in my stash. A very useful and versatile addition to my collection. Thank you
