Lacy Yellow Squares - Teabag Tiles Set 10
These tiles co-ordinate with mini-kit cup422620_2 but are very pretty in their own right. There are 8 other co-ordinating sheets too, providing a total of 20 different patterns for you to create a multitude of different medallions.

I made something quite different today, with the teabag tiles .You will need
1. pale green A.4.size textured paper.
2. Coffee Brown Textured paper x 4 pieces
(i)1 by 4x 21cm
(ii)2 by 8.5cm x 12 cm &
(iii)1 by 8.5 x 2.5 cm
Using a black ink pad and finger sponge, or an alcohol pen, edge the 2 larger coffee coloured pieces using a ruler and the smallest piece just the very edge. Edge the large green card on the four sides. Then score and fold at 9.7cm, 10cm, 9.7 cm (Approx 29.4 Finish) Folds are M,V,M and line drawn in black pen
The first medallion is 8 Simple long triangle finished folds. This is made into an 8 sided round medallion. The second set of tea bags are folded to a square finish then the top 2 sides folded in to the centre, then turned down at 45 Degrees. now turn the tea bag over and fold in the sides to match the front fold, then using a tooth pick or similar pull out the fold between these two to form a small peak on both sides. This will form the flowers . . I made 10 altogether . 3 of these I attached, to the centre point only, to the finished flower medallion 1.
& the others I arranged as a bouquet (Flowers are meant to be arranged in odd numbers not even). I attached the coffee card, as shown, first, then the green leaves and trim, including the flower support & used a green ink pad and finger sponge to highlight these. The sentiment added. then I made the letters from a gold "peel off" letter sheet & stuck these onto bright matching yellow paper and cut them out. I made 3 different sized flowers to finish this off in 3 different textured scraps, added a green organza (2cm wide) double bow and a small gold peel off bow.
The colour of these tiles are so cheerful, I felt as most of Australia is experiencing Spring and I miss the 4 seasons living in QLD. I wanted my own Spring Garden.
I hope you enjoy this card. You will need a long padded envelope, or preferably a box, as I have made, to send this card.
