Christmas Wreath Large Square Topper 2
A large square Topper with my new Christmas Wreath design on it. The size of this Topper is a little bit smaller than 8x8 inches so it is suitable for using on actual 8x8 inch card blank.
On the sheet I have included extra images of the flowers which you can use to decoupage the flowers on the topper and give them lovely dimensional effect.
The greeting on the Topper is Merry Christmas. This design is available in 4 different colors.

Thank you Anna for another magic, perfect to work with card design. One that you can just copy and pop onto a card front or as I have lovingly done, and happily enjoy making my own master piece with your designs. The main card is a white 15 x30cm folded in half. The backing sheets of which there 3 are, from the largest, green cut at 14.5 square, red, 13.5 square.. I mounted the red to the green using double sided tape, I then attached with double sided tape 2 strips of white, gold edged satin 6mm ribbon,3.5cm from top edge of the green backing sheet, leaving a 0.5cm gap to the 2nd ribbon. adhered them to the back with tape. I used Crafty Bob's roll of padded double sided tape, to attach this completed backing sheet to the main white card front, I then set this aside and began to make the topper. I printed off 3 copies of the main topper onto Crafty Bob's Gloss card. The first one I kept as the main topper I then made the following Steps.
1. I cut the wreath away from the background from the 1st copy. and used padded double sided tape to attach it to the main topper.
.2. I cut the gold "Merry Christmas" greeting medallion from the 2nd sheet. BUT I left a 2mm edge of the wreath centre around the gold medallion. I thought the small scallops were a little difficult for me to be completely accurate. and used padded Double sided tape to attach it to the centre front.
3. I took 3 x 25cm lengths of the same ribbon and tied them into a bow, slightly altering the length of each loop,. then attached this to the bottom of the wreath just below the medallion with a split pin, and taped the bottom ribbon tails with narrow double sided tape.
4. I set this aside while I made the next (3rd) backing sheet from white firm card,13cm square. I used gold glitter glue to paint a 1.5cm stripe around the edge. I set this aside to dry while I cut out all the pointsettia flowers from the 2 used sheets and gave them a gold glitter glue treatment.
5. Once all were quite dry, and I mean completely,(Over night), I attached the main topper to the gold edged white card with double sided tape small dots and squares, saving one to cover up the split pin.
I am so delighted with the result. However the photo shows the gold glitter as a little fuzzy, which it is not, it is really quite dazzling.
NOTE: I didn't use glitter card for the white backing sheet as I sometimes find after a day or two, the glitter doesn't like the double sided tape and rejects part of it. Next time I will use the glitter card and use Crafty Bob's special heavy duty red tape. It would definitely reduced the drying time, as I could have used the glitter glue on the flowers AFTER they had been attached.
Thank you again Anna I love working with your designs.
