Wedding Anniversary Valentines Day 8x8 Card Front 2
My new card front design for Anniversary/ Wedding/ Valentine's Day cards. For this design, I have used my beautiful rose close up image background and two of my heart designs.
The greeting tag in a heart shape on the card front I have left blank where you can write your own greeting or can use the ready greeting tag with Happy Anniversary greeting which is included on the sheet.
This card front or Topper is 8x8 inches.

Anna has provided us with a stunning card front design that really doesn’t need any additions. It is a quick and simple topper to print, cut out and attach to a card front. I spent a little more effort because I like to, and I had the time. I used CB matte white 200gsm white card to print the sheet supplied. The colours are absolutely beautiful and print up so well. I used a gold metallic pen to colour the edges of the main image, the single heart and the double heart. I used peel off pearls to attach to the double heart and decorated the wings and the body of the butterfly using very tiny green jewels and a purple one for the head. I cut out the larger heart with the sentiment and attached it using padded D.S. tape. I then attached a matching pink jewel. I made a white backing sheet which measures 12.75x 12.75cm, and coloured the edges with the gold metallic pen, and using a ruler. I made a second backing sheet which matches the pink hearts, and it measures 13.5 x 13.5cm. I coloured the very fine edges with a deep purple pen. I then made an ivory card, which I cut at 29 x 14.5cm, and used the same gold pen and ruler to colour a 3mm wide edge on all edges inside and outside. I then scored and folded it. I attached a narrow gold satin ribbon across the front of the white backing sheet, 3 cm up from the bottom edge, to enable it to line up with the ribbon on the main element. I used D.S. tape to attach this white backing sheet to the pink backing sheet and attached the ribbon around at the back of the pink backing sheet. I then used padded D.S. tape to attach this to the card front and tied a single simple onestep bow, and used white glue to attach the bow. I used regular D.S. tape to attach the topper to the card front. I added some more tiny jewels to the corners, and lower edge. I used a deep blue coloured sheet cut at 28 x 14 cm for the insert, and cut out 2 different sized hearts from some pink paper. I edged these with a purple pen before attaching them with white glue. I used metallic pens in white and mauve to draw the scroll shapes and the white to write the sentiment. I am more than delighted with the outcome. I am sending Anna a big hug to say thank you.
