He is sooo cute! And simple to make for any occasion. I printed on to good quality white card and cut out all elements using a craft knife as there is quite a bit of fine work.
On the two under squirrels I trimmed the ?fluff? off his tail and then coloured all edges using a light brown brush-tipped felt pen.
Using the craft knife I then ?fringed? the full tail to give a feathery effect, and using the light brown felt pen I ?painted? along the fringed edge so that there was little or no white shoeing and then gently bent it back and forth for added movement.
Next I cut a brown base card and topped it with a bark-patterned green paper for a tree effect. Finally I added Squirrel Nutkin using spongy tape. I made and added an appropriate salutation!
