I printed the sheet on quality cardstock and cut out all the pieces. I used foam pads for the decoupage parts and double sided tape to adhere the card front to a chocolate brown card base.
I edged the card front and the buckle on the side ribbon with a gold Sharpie marker. I used brown ribbon to cover the side ribbon and to stitch the crosses . I completed the card by cutting the top of the card base to match the top of the card front.
This is a very versatile card which can be used for either gender for any number of occasions.
I printed the design out onto Matte Crafty Bob paper and cut out the main topper and a small number of the added elements.
I decided to use it as a topper on an 8" square card, rather than cutting a base card to match the shape of the topper on this occasion.
I used finger-lift tape to attach this. I thne used 2mm deep, double sided, foam tape to attach the paper ribbon and the circular image.
I put some silver pearl liquid over the detail on the base card and decided to attach some of the leaves across this area rather than decoupaging them over the leaves by the frame.
I've not put on a greeting yet as I don't know what occasion it will be given for or what language it will be needed in.
