I printed the sheet out onto 300gsm Super Smooth cardstock and cut out the peices. I gave the pieces some dimensional shape using my fingers before building up the decoupage layers in order, attaching each in place using glue gel. The decoupaged layer was matted onto a piece of white cardstock, leaving a border of around half a centimeter. I took a pre-cut white card that has a large deckle edge and attached a piece of dotty embossed yellow cardstock that had been cut with a wavy edge cutter to the front. I attached the matted layer towards the right of the yellow layer and then put a decorative border cut using cup359368_596 out of White Adorable Scoreable cardstock towards the left of the yellow layer.

This little character, with his large eyes, is sure to bring a smile to the recipient's face. I think the next time I make him up I'll hunt out my googley eyes box for a suitably sized one to use instead of the topmost layer of the decoupage.
