If you are looking for a quick and easy card to make, which will suit almost every occasion and or celebration, to have on hand, for just that unexpected situation, this delightful image by Pamela West is just the ticket.

I have prepared a card in ivory with the front measuring 10.5cm x 14 cm, which means it will suit the average size envelope for posting.

I have used 3 backing sheets. A bright apple green cut at 14 x 10.5cm, which I have attached to the card front using D.S. tape.

The next 2 backing sheets, the 13x9.5cm black and the green section of cup1026014+1827, Lace Band Card Background 2, which I have cut at 12.5 x 8.5cm, I have matted together using D.S.

Tape and then attached the lime green ribbon horizontally across 4cm up from the bottom edge of the black backing sheet and then used padded D.S. tape to attach the 2 backing sheets to the card front.

I printed the sheet supplied in 2 sizes as I wanted to use the larger image as part of the insert.

The smaller 9.5cm x 7.25cm image, I have attached using D.S. tape to a 10.25cmx 7.75cm black backing sheet and then using padded D.S. tape attached this topper to the card front.

I used a mauve metallic pencil to define the edges of the main image and the smallest black backing sheet.

I completed the decoupage using tiny padded dots and squares, then added the ribbon made from the same ribbon using red power tape.

To complete the insert, I have used a pale apple green flower decorated background sheet cut at 21x14cm and used the larger 11.5x8.5cm image from the sheet provided and used peel off letters as the sentiment.

I added 2 of the larger butterflies and re- drew the feelers. I love this beautiful friendly image. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
