Round Peg - Square Hole Autism Awareness
After spending the last 18 years heping my autistic son become a marvellous young man, it is time I helped others to learn that a diagnosis of autism is a window of opportunity, if you are just willing to see it from the right perspective. When your child is diagnosed with this condition, be prepared for lots of hard work and tough times, but don't despair - there IS a silver lining and your child is equally capable of impressing you and inspiring you as any 'normal' child.
For those who don't know, Autism is represented by a colourful jigsaw - chosen to represent the puzzle presented by the condition to those who are trying find a cure, as well as the idea that our children often 'don't fit in' to 'normal' society.
I encourage everyone to make and share this card to raise awareness. :)

I cut out the elements. and cut out the sentiments. To give more attention to the cause i attached to hologram card with double sided tape and then used foam tape to attach sentiments to card.
I think these cards are for a great cause as i have a Grandson who lives with this every day.
